The design quality depends on the quality of the original artwork.
For simple logos in one color, a vector graphic would be best (AI up to version 8.0, PDF files).
To be safe, please also include the fonts used.
For full-color/size designs, a 300 dpi JPG at half the full size of the drumhead would be ideal.
